Tax-loss harvesting techniques, asset location strategies, and Risk Managed Options Strategies (RMOS), can help reduce company specific, economic sector, and asset allocation risk. This can increase the likelihood of achieving established goals subject to identified investment constraints relative to an established benchmark as described in each client’s tailored Investment Policy Statement.
CONCENTRATED STOCK MANAGEMENT
ConvexBeta Investments, LLC offers clients Risk Managed Options Strategies (RMOS) to mitigate risk and enhance diversification. Concentrations are caused by greater than 10 percent single-stock exposure, greater than 30 percent to a single economic sector, or excess equity allocation relative to an established strategic target asset allocation. RMOS can mitigate, defer or eliminate adverse tax consequences from otherwise recognized capital gains costs that can top 50 percent of sale proceeds.
YIELD ENHANCEMENT
ConvexBeta Investments, LLC offers clients the opportunity to earn extra income on stock and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) holdings with the Yield Enhancement Program through Interactive Brokers. Other broker/dealers and asset custodians typically keep 100 percent of such revenue generated on customer assets that usually is a surprise to such customers. ConvexBeta Investments, LLC clients, however, share such revenue (50/50) with Interactive Brokers as custodian. Revenue can help boost portfolio cash flow, increase investment return, and help defray advisory expenses.
LOW COST INVESTMENT PRODUCTS
ConvexBeta Investments, LLC utilizes individual securities, mutual funds, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) and other products with razor thin or no product expenses. Products plagued by charges such as front-end sales loads, bloated expense ratios, opaque administrative fees, 12b-1 sales fees, and back-end sales loads are excluded from ConvexBeta Investments, LLC approved purchase universes.
