With a diverse investment background, Hal has navigated the fixed income and equity markets for over 25 years.  Hal has managed the $7-$10 billion fixed income securities pool for the City of Los Angeles during the 2007-2010 great recession and concurrent financial crises while protecting principal and avoiding landmine holdings such as Lehman Brothers.

Hal Nachtrieb, CFA earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Lewis & Clark College and a M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.  Hal has held positions as a bond options trader, mutual funds manager, and private client portfolio manager for an investment bank, registered investment advisors, a public agency and commercial banks.
